A few months ago I got to work with Exquisite Weddings Magazine on their Spring/Summer 2014 bouquet feature. I had the best time meeting the four talented florists involved and seeing what they came up with for a variety of wedding looks. I’d have to say my personal favorite was the soft, full, organic look of Plenty of Petal’s blooms. I love a good olive leaf!

I recently got to be a part of the launch party for Please & Thank You‘s liquor bar at Luce Loft in San Diego. Food by A Miho Experience, flowers by Siren Floral Co., glassware, table and flatware by The Hostess Haven, as well as design by Smid That and Powwow Design Studio, made for a seriously amazing moody and modern vibe. The cocktails by Please & Thank You were spot on, and definitely contributed to the shenanigans on the dance floor. It was so much fun working with such a rad group of creatives, a big thanks to Max Cutrone for the capturing the evening on video for all of us!! When Meenal and Arjun got married at the Carmel Valley Ranch, they found the perfect balance of honoring both their traditional Indian heritage and modern lives in San Francisco. Jennie at Jennie J. Events did a lovely job pulling together the couple’s vision and all the details of the day. I got to know the couple and their families a little shooting the Garba and Sangeet the night before and it was clear right away that there’d be no shortage of dancing all weekend! Meenal and Arjun are such a fun, smart, talented couple and their gorgeous Carmel wedding totally reflected that. I loved being a part of it all! Melissa and Walter were married at the gorgeous Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels Maryland. They were such a fun and sweet couple who I adored working with! From the waterfront views and sailing boats to the lush grounds and amazing green house, this venue truly had it all and then some! The couple created the invitations together by hand using Walter’s vintage typewriter and donated to a charity close to Walter’s heart in lieu of party favors–so amazing. It was a spectacular evening that had everyone in laughter and happy tears!.

Christina and Grayson’s gorgeous Maryland waterfront wedding was an absolute blast to be a part of! Christina adored working with her wedding planner Arney Walker from Pineapple Productions who helped bring her vision to life. With fresh lemonade, candlelit pathways, poolside hors d’oeuvres, and a DIY fireworks display–this wedding had it all and then some!
